Additional benefits
Access to Texas Children's Hospital
While Texas Children's Health Plan gives you access to many hospitals located in your
community,
your family also has access to Texas
Children’s Hospital. Here's why that's important when you choose
coverage for your child:
- Texas Children’s Hospital is the
nation’s largest—and one of the best—children’s hospitals.
- It has more than 40 pediatric
specialties and subspecialties.
-
Baylor College of Medicine trains its pediatricians at
Texas Children’s Hospital.
- Texas Children’s Health Plan
offers access to neighborhood services, including Texas
Children’s Health Centers. The Health Centers offer the same
quality care found in the Texas Medical Center, but closer to
home.

A parent’s
touch
Texas Children’s Health Plan is designed to provide you with
access to a network of doctors, hospitals and other health
service providers. All have been specially trained to care for
children and teens. Our health plan was built on the belief that
you and your child’s doctor are best qualified to care for your
child’s health.
24-hour care
Texas Children’s Health Plan doctors and nurses are on call 24
hours a day, seven days a week. We know that when a child is
sick, a parent needs help right away.
